Dr. George Tokodi, D.O.
George Tokodi, D.O. has lived in the Marietta and Parkersburg area since August 1987 after graduating from his residency. This is the only area where he has ever practiced orthopedics. Prior to his orthopaedic practice, he had two years in the public health service in a general medical office as a family medical doctor. During his residency, he visited Selby General Hospital and moonlighted in the emergency room on holidays and occasional weekends.
Dr. Tokodi was the team physician for Marietta College for over 20 years and has actively participated in the educational process at Marietta College, for both Athletic Trainers and Physician’s Assistants. He also has appointments at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and Ohio University as affiliate faculty. His focus has been general orthopedics with emphasis on adult reconstructive surgery and hand surgery.
His family enjoys living in the Mid Ohio Valley. There are so many opportunities for hunting and fishing, which he thoroughly enjoys.
